Welcome to this website about the Christian message of the Good News, a site which is mainly aimed at people in the UK, but which anyone can access or join. The creators of the website share all of the core orthodox Christian beliefs with one key difference: we believe that all of us will ultimately be saved, a conviction that is known as ‘universalism’. We believe that over the centuries orthodoxy has lost its way in coming to the belief that most people will go to hell for ever, a depressing doctrine that must have a seriously adverse effect on how believers view their fellow human beings. We know that a lot of people will disagree with us, but it is also clear that many orthodox believers are beginning to question their beliefs. We invite you, therefore, whoever you may be, to join us in some friendly and open discussions about these difficult issues. This requires no commitment on your part, and you can join discussions as a member or as a guest. And it doesn’t matter if you are a non-believer or a member of a different faith group . We know not everyone will agree with one another, but we will value everything that everyone has to say. We also known that many of you who hold the universalist faith may find yourself somewhat isolated.
